The program provides a monthly financial support to Omanis who have reached 60 years old to ensure there is a minimum level of monetary social protection for this category during a period of reduced earning capacity.
The program provides monthly financial support to Omani children from birth until the age of 18 to ensure a minimum level of monetary social protection for this segment in support of their needs at this stage.
The program provides a monthly financial support to Omanis with disabilities whose cases require care and support in accordance with the controls and case evaluation criteria which will be covered under the executive regulations of the Social Protection Law.
The program provides monthly financial support to help people facing challenges resulting from the loss of their family’s breadwinner, and in cases where the benefits for orphans or widows who are entitled to pensions from social insurance are less than the value of this benefit, or in cases where they have no pensions.
The program provides monthly financial support to families with lower incomes and fewer opportunities to earn. The entitlement depends on the family’s income level and the ability of its members to earn. The target benefit value is linked to the number of family members and the family's gross income. The benefit aims to improve the living conditions of these families

The widow’s entitlement to the widows benefit does not lapse by employment.
Social insurance program that covers common workplace hazards (old age, disability, or death). It applies to Omani employees, workers and affiliates of the State’s Administrative Apparatus and other juristic persons, the private sector employees, self-employed Omanis and persons of similar status, Omanis working in the GCC countries, Omanis working abroad and persons of similar status, in addition to voluntarily registered Omanis.
